has returned.

With help from Mr. Yellow Chrome himself, the exterior of the car has finally been completed

Adding lightness.

Adding lightness is truly one my favorite car terms of all time. The result of it being one of my favorite terms I really strive for those types of modifications over power; after all my goal is 200 hp and sub 2000 pounds.

Total weight loss was a bit over 20 pounds per door, the Plexi-glass cost $20 per door; 40 pounds for $40, pretty frikken awesome. To top it all off I can finally lock the passenger side door!

Along with the weight reduction I also installed the Techno Toy Tunning Rear lower control arms; for toe and camber adjustment. On a side not I did ask for gunmetal, but they sent me black ::sad face::

Since the car is on the ground I also took some shots of the front steering geometry; just a hair over parallel!

Cut the front fender bolt to give myself a bit more tyre clearance.

The front was lowered a 1/2 inch, and in reality anything lower would cause too much rubbing so for now i am satisfied with how low it is.

sound comparison d90 vs iphone 3gs

The camera location for both the exhaust and engine were the same between the D90 and the 3GS, just difference focal lengths. Also, I turned off the fan for the engine sound for a more accurate sound test between them.

don't mind the vast difference in picture quality...

Also I took a couple more shots of how the header looks now with the 1.5"-ish cut taken out of the MSA headers.

Before I cut the header.

That wasn't a squirrel like I had originally thought, it was the exhaust hanging that low.

In this photo you can also see the updated droop steering geometry; while still not the best, it is far better than it was before the roll center adjuster/strut spacers install

The TTT RLCAs should be shipped out within the week and I can't wait!

Low light Nikon D90 photo and recording tests

My sister, Zoe Zupancic, had a piano recital and I did some low light with high ISO (3200-6400) tests with the D90. I really wish I would have brought my tri-pod, and purchased a larger SDHC card, to this event to get more clearer shots, but you live and learn.

Also found out that the D90 lends itself to the "evil eye" while it is clacking away; awesome. I really want to see the video that the teacher was taking to hear the slapping in the background while Zoe is playing, heh.
