Long Beach GP

On Saturday the mates and I went to long beach to watch some of the racing, drink some John Rambos (San Peligrino & Campari), and have some fun with the long beach kids.

A Wii bit of fun

On the 10th of April we had a wii bit of a gathering; and like most Wii owners the only game we played was Wii Sports. Tennis was, as always, a smashing good time; sorry for the lack of pictures but that is what happens when you are on the undefeated team. Then we played a few rounds of bowling; I won the first round but fumbled on the second. Once the 'dults were used to the controllers we started up the game that the pops was most interested in, Golf. I stepped out for the first round to snap a few shots. I am not trying to make excuses but... it was a low light situation and I didn't want to use a flash.

It is a tradition of our family to buy small gifts on Easter, St. Patty's Day, etc.; and this Easter it was a celebration of bubble sticks!

Martin's Graduation

One of my best friends graduated from bootcamp on the 3rd of april. He was an Honor Man for his platoon (2174), as well as the Lead Honor Man of Hotel Company (bested 479 people to get it). On top of that he was the only person in the company to earn the rank of Lance Corporal.

Ken's Birthday

After Ken brought in some cupcakes for my birthday, we all thought it would be a fantastic idea to have a cupcake comp for his. Marla took the win with Carrot and Cream frosting, I took "most gourmet" with my Orange Dark Chocolate, Jeggi took "most feel good" with a Dark Chocolate topped with homemade strawberry frosting, and Zoe took most likely to have for breakfast with her heart healthy cupcake.
